STORM Current and After

Storm! Just the word itself is strong no matter how you begin to think of this word the reaction is so strong and intense.

A storm weather related.

A storm is emotions is intense emotion.

Not gonna talk about how a person can storm onto a scene.

Weather related storms of course are not always harmful, but when they are we know we have to seek cover for protection!!!!

Storms of life happen throughout life, and they always will. Our reactions however far to often are horribly wrong. What do we do in those times that we know after the fact we should NOT do?

We realize that we intensify the emotional storms in our lives by our reactions to them. And even we gather others in those EMOTIONAL STORMS!!!

If we are guilty of the Latter what do we do? Pray and Focus on Steps to Avoid doing so even if our personalities can project the Storms.

Do We Miss "The Message?"

How often is it that we find ourselves gathered with people listening to someone giving a speech, or a sermon or teaching a subject in school. How often do we hear a song that somehow tugs at our heart strings.

The Question is How often do we Miss The Message?

Of course the answer to that question can vary from each individual.

In the case of a sermon sometimes we might have someone record the message so it can be heard later or someone might ask the pastor or evangelist after the service to try to explain somethings that was not understood

In the case of a Teacher whether someone is in grades K-12 or College sometimes it's needful to ask the teacher to explain it on a One on One basis if it is still hard to understand after taking note

And when listening to a song it's not always when we hear it for the first time that we can understand it's true meaning.

There are messages all around us some can have a profound effect on our lives while others are just there to inform, and guide us.

Perspective of Darkness

From time to time in this life we all have been through periods of darkness. And as we all know those times are mostly a time of sadness, and discouragement. Then there are times that we are experiencing the outdoors in the Darkness. We could be on a journey during the late night hours.

Whatever the case might be whether it is being physically in the darkness or emotionally, and mentally. Isn't it great to know that Light will soon appear. There is a saying that "There is Light at the end of the Tunnel." As true as this statement is when the dark times come it's extremely hard to see that there is so much truth in this statement.

Sometimes we experience darkness because of our mistakes, but remember we need to get back up and try again. And sometimes darkness comes in our lives to teach us how to persevere in this life.

So remember we all experience Darkness as well as the Light and Both can teach us lessons if we will just be willing to learn.

Take Care,

Just One!

One, it's not a large number as we know. However the simplicity of just one can surely have a big impact on so many things. Because many times just One of something is more than enough for our needs or wants.

Have you ever thought that just One word can create many things to have a large impact on so many things that we discover in the world.

Just one word can inspire a thought, a sermon, a song, and possible a smile!

Many times though it does take more than one to accomplish the things we need to.

Who knows maybe we can try to be simple and just think of One!!

How can we see?

Sight is a wonderful thing that we all have, even the visually impaired or those that cannot see at all physically.

You maybe wondering where this thought is going!

I'll try to explain with a question to ponder. And the question is how do we see? The answer you may think the eyes, but there is 1 more thing that came to me today. And that is the mind or the brain!

Let me explain it this way: When we sleep what do we do during sleep? The answer to that is Dream!

And in our dreams we see things whether it's an awesome dream or just a terrible nightmare! So when we see things in our dreams that's our brain letting us view what our eyes can't.

Then there is our eyes we see the beauty of things around us in any direction we look. In any shape or form we see things and enjoy it or we don't. It's what our opinion is of what we are looking at whether it is something we like or don't like.

I hope this post will allow you to ponder the different avenues there is to view life.

Hobbies that can produce Exciting Change.

Many times in this fast-paced world we live in now we see many people moving from Job to Job, Location to Location. And even sometimes have more than 1 Hobby. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with any of this. Of course as far as Jobs and Changing where a person resides is beyond our control many times for many different reasons.

Hobbies, however are the things we like to be involved in if and when we have free time to get involved in them that bring us joy. And how awesome it is for many people that their hobbies can in fact lead to their career choices in life.

So have a few if not many hobbies as well as take some time to decide if these hobbies can truly turn out to be a lifestyle change or a Career move. I'm sure you remember the old saying "The Sky is the Limit!"

Bubble Wrap & Hearing Aids!

I remember several years ago a family friend wanted to bring me a large piece of bubble wrap. When I first saw what he had brought I couldn't figure out why, but the more I thought about it I knew that he knew I would have fun with it somehow. And I'm honest with you when I say that the Bubbles on that sheet were the biggest bubbles I had ever remember seeing on Bubble wrap. I was always used to seeing the really small bubbles. So anyway he handed it to me and I stared at it for a little while, BTW I was in my living room when he came.

Let me back up here to say this, In my 2nd blog I said I was handicapped, yes I am I am confined to a wheelchair.

Now back to my story, So after staring at this huge piece of bubble wrap I had an idea, I laid it in the middle of my living room floor then proceeded to run over it. My parents and our friend were getting a kick out of my stunt. Then I started to notice that my dad started to cover his ears then I realized....OOPS! My Dad had his hearing Aids in. Well needless to say to look at my dad holding his ears, laughing was hilarious, and priceless. And so after all the Bubbles were Flattened by me. We just threw the paper away, of course I might should have kept the wrap as a reminder, but at least I still remember it.

It's amazing how simple things can bring Joy & Laughter!!!
