Bubble Wrap & Hearing Aids!

I remember several years ago a family friend wanted to bring me a large piece of bubble wrap. When I first saw what he had brought I couldn't figure out why, but the more I thought about it I knew that he knew I would have fun with it somehow. And I'm honest with you when I say that the Bubbles on that sheet were the biggest bubbles I had ever remember seeing on Bubble wrap. I was always used to seeing the really small bubbles. So anyway he handed it to me and I stared at it for a little while, BTW I was in my living room when he came.

Let me back up here to say this, In my 2nd blog I said I was handicapped, yes I am I am confined to a wheelchair.

Now back to my story, So after staring at this huge piece of bubble wrap I had an idea, I laid it in the middle of my living room floor then proceeded to run over it. My parents and our friend were getting a kick out of my stunt. Then I started to notice that my dad started to cover his ears then I realized....OOPS! My Dad had his hearing Aids in. Well needless to say to look at my dad holding his ears, laughing was hilarious, and priceless. And so after all the Bubbles were Flattened by me. We just threw the paper away, of course I might should have kept the wrap as a reminder, but at least I still remember it.

It's amazing how simple things can bring Joy & Laughter!!!

The Seen, and Unseen Athlete

While watching someone very special to me play Basketball yesterday. I was in awe of there Ability of Speed, tenacity to play the game that they love. It got me to thinking that even though the young person I was watching yesterday Physically played basketball, should it not be just as easy to be able to dream about playing the game, or any other activity we want to. How often can we as individuals quickly forget to use our minds to dream. I know for myself sometimes I get lost in realizing that there are things that I cannot do because of my handicapped, and I have truly at times let that keep my imagination far away. All in all I am truly Blessed and I know that, and Just watching others enjoy things they can do is Truly a wonderful sight to see.

Explanation of Blog Name

You may be wondering why I chose the name Wheels in Wonder! Well let me try to explain, I am handicapped due to a Birth Defect. And when I came up with the name Wonder here it is. I have long considered myself a dreamer, and someone who loves to be imaginative. Now I realize in the "Real World" there are "Realities" that we all must face, many good, but of course many that are bad and even gut wrenching to face. At this point I will not go into those as of now, because as I stated in my First Blog post I want to be as positive as I can. I remember when I opened up 1 of my social media accounts that was my main goal, Well that did not always turn out to be the case, but with this. Positivity is my mission.
