Perspective of Darkness
From time to time in this life we all have been through periods of darkness. And as we all know those times are mostly a time of sadness, and discouragement. Then there are times that we are experiencing the outdoors in the Darkness. We could be on a journey during the late night hours.
Whatever the case might be whether it is being physically in the darkness or emotionally, and mentally. Isn't it great to know that Light will soon appear. There is a saying that "There is Light at the end of the Tunnel." As true as this statement is when the dark times come it's extremely hard to see that there is so much truth in this statement.
Sometimes we experience darkness because of our mistakes, but remember we need to get back up and try again. And sometimes darkness comes in our lives to teach us how to persevere in this life.
So remember we all experience Darkness as well as the Light and Both can teach us lessons if we will just be willing to learn.

This kind of reminds me of my days in the military...…..Looking back on it, it's been so long ago, that it seems but just a small bit of time in my life. Yet, when I was living it, it seemed like forever. The hard or dark times of our lives are based upon severity and the amount of time spent in that darkness...….but as you pointed out, the Dawn does come and it fades to a distant memory. Such as it is with most things in Life...….but God is always Good
